Little First Responder: teaching children to act in emergencies

Children can learn simple, life-saving skills when they're taught in an age-appropriate way. In many cases, a child is the only one present with a parent or grandparent when an emergency happens.

  • Memorizing the emergency number and home address — and knowing when to call.
  • Recognizing hazards: electricity, medicines, cleaning products, and water.
  • Handling minor cuts and nosebleeds.
  • Asking an adult for help calmly and clearly.

Our Little First Responder program teaches these skills through play, stories, and hands-on practice — available for schools, kindergartens, and family groups.
