BLS, ACLS or PALS? Choosing the right course

Healthcare professionals and students ask us this all the time. A quick guide:

  • BLS — Basic Life Support: the foundation for all healthcare providers and students, covering CPR, AED use, and choking relief. Usually a prerequisite for advanced courses.
  • ACLS — Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support: for physicians, nurses, emergency and ICU teams, covering rhythm recognition, drug management, and advanced interventions.
  • PALS — Pediatric Advanced Life Support: for anyone caring for children in emergency, ward, or critical-care settings.
  • NRP — Neonatal Resuscitation: for delivery-room and NICU teams.

These certificates are typically valid for 2 years, so plan your renewal early. Not sure which course your job requires? Contact us and we'll guide you.
